Are you ready to have the next Beethoven? Or maybe it’s a little rock star you have there. A lot of parents dream of that.
But musical toys aren’t just about creating a musical genius. The have so many benefits that it really does make sitting though hours of noise so worthwhile.
Having musical toys enhances your child’s growth and fine motor skills. Especially in young children, as music is linked to benefiting the ability to learn words, to speak them correctly, to process new sounds they will hear as they grow.
Having music in my kid’s life has been a great way to see how they can express themselves through sounds and movement, and as they have grown and developed, we’ve played a fun game listening out for their favourite instruments in the music we listen to. As they’ve built their rhythm and harmony skills this has also opened new learning activities and fun games for us. All this development was while being creative and having fun. It doesn’t get better than that.
Some of my personal favourite games when my children were little were the counting games. They didn’t even know they were practicing their numbers.
As a family we love playing music around the house, from singing along to our favourite songs, to picking an instrument from our collection of drums, xylophones, ukuleles and even a DJ mixing station and creating our own band.
We hope you and your family find your next band members new instrument from our wide range of music toys.
