If you are parenting a little person who is 12 months old or near, you’ll no doubt be seeing them become more and more mobile and curious – and curious about the new things they can now reach, wither they should or shouldn’t be.
It’s a new challenge for parents and an increasingly interesting time of discovery for your little one. Having toys that cater to their ever-growing curiosity and their unique interests is vital during this time. Things that fit together are intriguing to a little one whose 12 months old, like shape sorters and puzzles which are perfect. There is so much to practice and work out and these activities are aiding in the development of dexterity and problem-solving skills. Activity cubes that include various activities are also very interesting as there is something new just around the corner. Literally just around the corner. Stackers are good toys too as they can be put together the right way or in a way that is technically wrong but may also be very entertaining for our little people. These toys give them to ability to practice making decisions and some creative thinking.
This might also be a great time to introduce some of the ride on options or a push/pull toy. All of these items have great cause and effect components and align with your child’s increased mobility. To increase in the learning opportunities, we encourage toys that engage more senses which is why we have a number of toys that specifically designs for that purpose. You’ll find great examples of these across our range.
